A Few General Comments about buying Hardware:

Upgrades - NEVER do a full system upgrade it would be wiser to buy a new computer.
Memory - The memmory is relativaley low priced and gives the computer a Better performance.
HDD - Don't be Naive here, The Larger the Hard Drive gets the lower price of a 1Mb unit It costs (and Paradoxically FASTER too).
Mainboard - Dont buy a board which can be ugraded to ~1Ghz processor (Think what if you wanted to put a new CPU, What will You do with the old one?).
CDR/DVDRW - Think well it does not sure You need one right now...
